precision small matter about Lee dies ...?
I'm starting to load .30-06 and .38, .357 and ammunition, and am looking for the view in general to die to get my Lee press. Because there are several options to choose from, I'm a little confused about what is best for a first timer. any help would be much appreciated.
First, you only need 2 sets of matrices. If you, I'd buy the 30-06 (3 PC die along with the factory Crimp) and the 38 special 357 Magnum and international real change, everyone will have the burden of another, is only, 135 (Just so you know 1 / 8 inch is 125 so that the 357 mag is only slightly longer than the 38 special) the difference in length between the two. I would buy the .357 Magnum BW Carbide 3 die together and add a 357 Magnum Carbide Factory Press die. And with them, you can load 375 magnum and 38 special all if the same set of dies and it is safe. Just scroll down a bit to recharge the 38 specialties and has plenty of room for it. DO NOT BUY GUN DIES FOR STEEL. Rifle comes as steel and buying the steel and the cases should use lubricant in each case for not staying in the steel dies. Gun if you buy carbide dies, do not use any lubricants business with her and makes charging a lot easer. If you buy steel die in a firearm, if Lube each case must, or it will stick. So if I were you I would buy 30-06 3 pc die together with the factory 357 Magnum Carbide Presses 3 pc die together and add a 357 Magnum Carbide Plant Presses die for this. Luck Factory Crimp 30/06 no carbide But the weapons factory crimp die is carbide. Today Lee die is good, but I use RCBS and I tried a Factory Crimp die lees and liked it so much I bought one for each caliber you reload and many sizes. In an attempt to roll crimp is difficult for the beginner, but the factory crimp can refine and save as much as crimping as you do or not so little as not, and never harm a case with a roll crimp the case that if it gets too destroy the roll crimp Crimp. The die set, I told the owner emerged tank if you do not need to buy. But Lee's your case reference length and cutters for all 3 sizes, so cut all cases the actual length so that it takes a 30-06 and .38 Special and 357 Magnum that part will not change due to international differences in length. It takes a single mower cutting head but 3 meters of different lengths. I think that covers everything I need to cover. I hope this will help. D58 Firstly I disagree with BH in the campaign against Lee. My bank recharge has been created with tools that have shown themselves to me, if not disappeared. From 12 feet in my bank charge me RCBS, Lyman, Forster and Lee. I started reloading at the age of 18 years and I am pushing 50, I used to even guess how many times I have reloaded this time or how many bullets I cast. But I never had a problem during all these years with all the Lee Dies that I use. 85% of my reloading tools RCBS, Lyman, where Forster and Lee are the last 15%. I do not use Lee presses, because they were not designed to my size or style of loading, where, RCBS, Lyman, Forster have risen. To begin on a budget of Lee's fine, more later if we keep reloading until the degree you need. I'll be the first to say Lee Case Trimmers, Case Universal Expander Die, Factory and Press Dies Collet neck sizing dies are tools exceptional belong to my reloading bench. However, while taking into account that there are people who through RCBS is bad. Lee's work for average recharge. Personally, I prefer to Natchez Shooting supplies for my reloading needs of all e-mail command. I always seem to save money then everyone else. What http://www.natchezss.com/ D58 my opinion
